If You are New to the Outdoors, This can help You
A little goes a long ways, Be prepared!

As humans, we have an innate desire to explore the natural world around us. Perhaps it's the fresh air, the stunning landscapes, or the sense of peace and tranquillity that draws us to the great outdoors. Whatever the reason may be, many people are discovering the joy of spending time outside – and they're doing it with very little gear.
Contrary to popular belief, you don't need a lot of fancy equipment to enjoy the outdoors. Sure, it's nice to have all the latest gear, but it's not necessary. In fact, all you need are the bare essentials.
The first thing you need for any outdoor adventure is the right mindset. This means being open to new experiences, stepping out of your comfort zone, and embracing the unknown. Once you have the right attitude, everything else falls into place.
Next, you need to dress appropriately. Wearing comfortable, lightweight clothing will help you stay cool and dry, while sturdy hiking boots will provide the support and stability you need. Always consider the weather conditions and adjust your clothing accordingly. Better to have it and not need it then pay the consequences.
Another bare essential is water. Staying hydrated is crucial when you're spending time outdoors, so be sure to bring enough water for the duration of your trip. If you're not sure how much water you'll need, a good rule of thumb is to drink at least 2 litres per day. More than once have we encountered people miles in on a trail that have ran out and are desperate for water. Be the one prepared, no the one in need.
Food is important. Bring along easy-to-carry snacks like trail mix, granola bars, and fruit. If you're planning on spending more than a day in the outdoors, then consider packing lightweight camping meals that are easy to prepare. Whatever it is make sure you think of all the small details, utensils, salt and pepper, a form of napkin or cleaning towel.
Finally, don't forget about safety. A map and compass, or GPS device, can help you navigate the trails, and a first-aid kit can help you deal with any injuries or emergencies that may arise. But understand what being prepared actually means. If you have these things you prepared your gear well. If you do not know how to use these tools effectively you might as well have left them at home. Be prepared for anything. Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes experience.
In conclusion, spending time in the outdoors doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. With the bare essentials, you can enjoy all the beauty and wonder that nature has to offer. So, go ahead and take that first step outside – you might just discover a whole new world waiting for you.
